Jesus Christ Superstar @ The Philharmonic Center for the Arts

Haven’t made it to New York to see a show yet? This weekend, the show is coming to you. Jesus Christ Superstar, the first masterpiece from the legendary writing team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, exploded onto the scene in 1971. Ever since its premiere it has been changing the world of musical theater forever. With a score of amazing songs, this original groundbreaking production starring Ted Neeley (who starred in the movie version) in the title role and Living Colour’s Corey Glover as Judas is as relevant and timeless as ever. Tickets are $65, so do something different this Thursday night and see one of the most famous shows in musical theater history.

Comedian Robert Hawkins @ Captain Brien’s Seafood and Raw Bar

This guy is sure to make you laugh! Robert Hawkins was voted one of the Top 25 Comics by comedy club owners for the American Comedy Awards. Robert has made appearances on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," Showtime, A&E, and "The Bob and Tom Radio Show". A recent magazine article covering Hawkins' stand-up wrote "comics like Robert Hawkins take the art form (stand-up comedy) to new highs and he is worth checking out if he comes to your town." Florida Everblades vs. Texas Wildcatters @ Germain Arena

How about some in your face action? The Florida Everblades, the number 4 team in their division, is playing the number 1 team, the Texas Wildcatters. Come and support the Everblades as the season comes to a close. Don’t know much about hockey? It doesn’t matter. As long as you enjoy beer, stadium food, and the occasional fight or two on the ice, you may find yourself a new sport to become a fan of.

Wheelmobile @ Hodges University

Wheel….Of….. Fortune! The Wheelmobile is coming to Fort Myers! Come visit the big yellow bus and audition to be a part of this classic game show. The Wheelmobile will be at Hodges University on Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. There is no need to arrive early, because everyone who arrives at this time will be able to turn in an application. The people who compete onstage will be drawn at random in teams of five, with a total of three chances to make it to the stage. The people who make it to the stage will be auditioning for the show! Don’t miss out on your chance to become the next contestant on Wheel of Fortune.

Free Admission @ Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

Remember the simpler times when entertainment was free? Well this Saturday, you can go to the Naples Zoo for free! On the first Saturday of every month, Collier County residents receive free zoo admission all day long. Enter any time, all day long, no coupon required - just proof of residency for all adults. Visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of residency (Florida ID with Collier address or Photo ID and local utility bill) is required.
