Description: Capital Jazz Fest Winner Marcus Anderson visits Fort Myers for the 1st time. He will be performing at the Lions Den Restaurant and Lounge on Thursday July 29th at 10:30 pm during the Acoustic Affairs Poetry and Arts open mic. Lion’s Den is located at 3559 Fowler Street, Fort Myers, FL 33901 in the Columbus Plaza (at the northeast corner of Fowler and Carrell).
Marcus Anderson electrifies stages with an unmatchable energy and an intoxicating sound that stretches the definition of jazz. This multi-talented saxophonist, vocalist and entertainer recently released his second CD “From the Heart” a much anticipated follow up to “My Turn”, his stellar debut project. “I put all of my heart and soul into my playing, and that’s where music should come from” says Anderson
This event is hosted by King Leo Pro! motions and Acoustic Affairs and will raise funds to promote the annual Riddim Runway benefit concert. There is a $10 cover and limited capacity so purchasing tickets as soon as possible is strongly advised. Tickets are available at Lion’s Den.
