Description: No one ever quite knows what to call the quasi-New York style décor, faintly resembling coffeehouses from the Village or reminding one of New Orleans (pre-Katrina of course!) jazz bars, but the Bayshore Coffee Company hits it square on the head. The cavernous dark tile and black room isn't at all dreary thouth, because of the brilliant sunshine pouring in a front window wall, framed by sidewalk umbrellas and palm trees. An upright piano sets the mood, while a leather sofa and chair group begs for someone to lounge about with the day's paper and a favorite frappe. Free wireless internet access is available for those who can't put down the laptop long enough to enjoy lunch and an assortment of unusual collectibles, coffee table books, pottery and art dot shelves lining the walls. Calling itself the "Meet'en, Eat'en Place," the Bayshore Coffee Company serves breakfast, lunch, sometimes dinner and what is arguably, Naples' finest coffee. It boasts a gourmet collection of 12 specialty coffee beans, sold by the pound, but its signature coffee is a mix from the highlands of Guatemala and is ground here in Naples by third-generation coffee growers. Bayshore Coffee also has bragging rights to all kinds of brews such as espresso macchiato, breve, latte, cappuccino and chai tea as well as serving beer and wine.
