The menu is a hodgepodge of British favorites, like fish and chips, cottage pie and bangers and mash. For those who would rather not pretend they’re in dark and cloudy London, there is a large, covered outdoor seating area with its own bar. The British Open Pub also makes its own British-themed pizza, with pies like the Royal Birksdale and Lochlomond. It serves real 20-ounce English pints and has an impressive 15 beers on draught. The British Open Pub features a wide range of sandwiches, pub fare and comfort food with a heavy British slant. Owner Ann Nabbs has opened several of the British golf-themed restaurants in Florida as she moved down the coast with her family. Typical entrees include salads, sandwiches (called "sandwedges" in keeping with the golf theme) and pizzas, along with UK favorites such as bangers and mash (sausage and mashed potatoes), pasties (meat and vegetables wrapped in pastry dough) and liver and onions. Daily specials often feature British fare such as steak and kidney pie, chicken wellington and an old-fashioned British roast on Sundays, featuring roast pork or leg of lamb.
