Description: Discover a slice of old Bonita life at this local institution that bills itself as “Florida’s favorite ‘upscale-dive.’” Buffalo Chips has a funky feel, from the license plates from different states that line the wall to the newspaper format menu with a history of the restaurant and the city of Bonita penned by manager Chip Greenwood. Greenwood’s father, Al, left the snow of Buffalo, N.Y., behind in 1982 to come to Bonita. He brought his recipe for Buffalo Wings with him though, and you can get them with nine different degrees of spiciness at Buffalo Chips, including suicide, killer and death.
