Bio: Chuck was born in Miami and raised in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. He earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Florida and began work at the Daily News shortly after graduation.

Chuck has been the police-courts reporter, city hall reporter, copy editor, News Editor and Managing Editor/Online for the Daily News. Under his direction, naplesnews.com was named best in state news site for five consecutive years (1999-2003) by organizations ranging from the Florida Society of Newspaper Editors to the Society for Professional Journalists to the Florida Press Club. Also under Curry's stewardship, naplesnews.com earned back-to-back nominations as a finalist for the prestigious Editor & Publisher EPpy award as best news Web site in the under 100,000 circulation category.

Curry's hobbies pretty much center around golf, when he can find the time to get out on the course. Curry is married and has two children.
