Ryan McAfee is not only a director of Studio 55 for naplesnews.com, he is the go-to guy for a variety of NDN Productions projects.
In addition to directing and sometimes hosting Studio 55, he helped start the "Grounds Crew" baseball podcast and blog, and has co-hosted different sports podcasts for the Daily News.
Ryan's work with naplesnews.com is his first news experience. He graduated from Kansas State University in May 2005 with a degree in sociology/criminology. Ryan's claim to fame, however, is his title in the 150-pound weight class in Kansas State's intramural wrestling competition.
Having worked at several golf courses in the Kansas City area, Ryan is no stranger to the greens. When he isn't getting golf tips from Daily News golf columnists Doc Suttie or Tom Patri or sending out cell phone alerts for the Florida Everblades, you can find him playing basketball, softball or golf. Ever the sports-enthusiast, Ryan is a die-hard Kansas City Royals fan who spends his non-sports-related moments playing the guitar.
